Located in southern Finist\u00e8re, the pointe de la Torche cuts, by its projection into the sea, the southern end of the baie d’Audierne<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Since 1965, this rocky peninsula is classified Natural Site<\/strong>. And for good reason! Beaten by the elements, it offers an impressive spectacle. On stormy days, the waves, crashing on the rock, pass over the isthmus. On calmer days, you can take a beautiful walk along the coastal path that goes around the point, you will then have a superb view of the Bay of Audierne.<\/strong> <\/p>\n

You will meet there tumulus and dolmen<\/strong>, vestiges of the human occupation of this site at the Mesolithic and Neolithic<\/strong>. La Torche is also a very popular site for snow sports enthusiasts. It is also considered as one of the best surf spots in Europe<\/strong>. Several stages of the world championship and the European cup of surfing, among others, took place there. All year long, this spot hosts high level surfing competitions. <\/p>\n

The mythical spot of the Torch at 15 min from the campsite<\/h2>

A few minutes away from the Camping La Grande Plage<\/a>, in Lesconil, in Finist\u00e8re, discover a must-see spot for surfers<\/strong> : la Torche, in Plomeur. Between dunes and tulip fields, discover the beauty of this natural and protected site<\/strong> in Brittany. <\/p>\n

This tourist place<\/strong> is perfect to test the sports of gliding: surf, bodyboard, kitesurf, windsurf, Stand Up Paddle.<\/p>\n

From March, Les champs de la Torche<\/strong>, in Plomeur, is adorned with beautiful colors. The Breton climate and the sandy soil have made it possible, since the beginning of the 1980s, to develop the cultivation of narcissus, hyacinths, tulips and irises. <\/p>\n

The Torch, in spring, becomes red, yellow, orange, pink and more, it is the F\u00eate des Fleurs \u00e0 Plomeur<\/strong> ! 40 hectares of fields of hyacinths and tulips dress this magnificent natural site. <\/p>\n
